Manhattan Institute of Management & Brooklin College offers a hands on course designed for those that have an interest in Solar PV, and wish to learn the basics of designing and installing a PV system, from the homeowner, contractor, or electrician, to those contemplating a career in Solar PV.
This 80 hour workshop will cover the basics of designing and installing both a grid-tied system and an off-grid system with battery backup, and will include classroom lectures, videos and two actual Solar PV installations by all participants.

Working Safely with PV systems
Site Assessment
Sizing and designing a system
Adapting a mechanical, electrical & structural design to a specific site
Installing sub-systems and components on site
System review, inspection and commissioning
Maintaining & troubleshooting systems
